5 The Reading Room at Silom 19 has revamped their space once again as their second instalment of the Sleepover series, Sleepover: Discomfort By Southeast Of Now, will launch tomorrow at 2pm. Southeast of Now is a group of Southeast Asian art historians who will give talks on June 5 and 11 regarding their inaugural issue of Southeast Of Now: Directions In Contemporary And Modern Art, with discussions and talks on the writing and publishing of contemporary and modern art in Southeast Asia, what it means to be avant-garde and other topics which seek to question and challenge “contemporary” and “modern” art.
